Located in Commack, NY, I am a tutor with a passion for improving the work of others. My vast educational and work experience has reiterated the value and importance of one-on-one learning. I have a master's degree in Education from Hofstra University, and I recently received my Professional Certificate in Students with Disabilities from Dowling College. I am an experienced teacher with the ability to tutor students across many age groups and skill levels. My approach to learning is quite simple. I believe each student learns differently, and it is my job to find the best way to inspire and guide them. I am a well rounded, knowledgeable, tutor who has the ability to tailor instruction to meet the specific goals and needs of each student, while making learning fun. I am a lifelong learner, and my positive attitude towards learning helps motivate and encourage my students. I excel at tutoring in a variety of subjects, but I am most fond of teaching Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar, Religious Studies, History, English, and Social Studies. I also enjoy helping students build solid study habits in preparation for tests. When I am not teaching I enjoy crafting, antiquing, and exploring technology.
