Masters MsEd in Adolescence Special Education and Literacy at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I received my BA as an English major and Education minor at Western New England University Springfield, MA. I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Experience
I am certified in New York for Literacy (Reading) 5-12, Special Education 7-12, and Language Arts (English) 5-12. I have been teaching English, Reading, and Special education for four years. I am seeking a tutoring position in addition to my teaching career. I have been a private tutor the past ten years. I was also a tutor at my college writing center and Huntington Learning center. Our children are our greatest gift. They are more than a spreadsheet and they deserve the time and personalization they need to thrive. I will provide an individualized plan to help you or your child reach their learning goals. I can provide a variety of tutoring services to people from ages 8 to 18+ in English and history subjects, middle school to high school test prep, SAT/ACT test prep, note taking strategies, and organizational skills.
